MONSTERS TO RUMBLE IN
MONROE THIS FRIDAY!
July 10, 2011 -For nearly the past decade, Midwest Monster Truck Events has
thrilled fans at the Monroe County Fair in Monroe, Michigan, this
year is going to be no exception!
From Kansas, the Bounty Hunter will invade the Monroe County
Fairgrounds as a part of this year's Monster Truck Summer Throwdown produced by Midwest Monster Truck Events! Not to be outdone, last
year's freestyle winner Jon Zimmer in the Amsoil Shock Therapy
machine along with Jim Koehler, the current World Freestyle Champion
in the Avenger from Columbus, Michigan are hungry for some wins in
front of their family, friends, and great Michigan fans.
2010 racing winner, Chris Bergeron in Brutus will try and defend
his title on the double jump "roundy-round" monster truck
racing course new for 2011. Bergeron, who first appeared in Monroe
in 2003 has always given the fans a show.
Don't miss out on the action as top female driver Jocelyn Perrin
will pilot the High Maintenance in her home state along with the
ever popular Excaliber driven by Kevin Koszala. These 6 superstars
of monster truck racing will perform in wheelie, racing, and
freestyle competitions for top honors.
For the first time ever in Monroe,
catch the high flying, high speed antics of freestyle motocross!
Flying 30 feet in the air busting out huge tricks! Plus take a ride
in the Excaliber ride truck for only $5 before and after the show!
Tickets only $10 for adults and $5
for children at the Monroe County Fair box office! Monroe, Michigan,
get ready for
monster trucks, it's gonna be monster truck madness! The action
starts Friday, August 5th at 7 PM!

MONSTER TRUCK MADNESS II
shook the grounds of the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort on July 2nd,
2011. In the wheelie contest it was Zane Rettew in Stinger sending his
truck into a wild leap over the cars but it was Jon Zimmer in the Amsoil
Shock Therapy claiming the win with a nice slap wheelie. Racing saw some
wild action on the unique course designed by Midwest Monster Truck
Events. In the final round, Amsoil Shock Therapy defeated Chris Bergeron
in Brutus.
Freestyle action was "certified hot" as High Maintenance started things
with a wild leap over the camper! Excaliber had some nice jumps, and
Andy Hoffman drove War Wagon until the body fell off! Chris Bergeron
returned early to the pits after a planetary broke causing Brutus to
lock up it's left rear wheel, but not before Chris cracked off a wicked
set of cyclones!
In freestyle it was a battle between Floridian JR McNeal in Razin Kane
and Jon Zimmer in Amsoil Shock Therapy. In the end it was Zimmer once
again claiming the win and a clean sweep of the weekend's events after
Shock Therapy threw down clinic of wheelies, huge air, and cross
threads.
