MONSTER TRUCK MADNESS 2010

 The boys at Midwest Monster Truck Events went all out to bring Monster Truck Madness to the Soaring Eagle Casino over the July 4th weekend. What a fantastic show! A rockin' crowd saw some of the best monster truck action as Avenger, Amsoil Shock Therapy, Brutus, High Maintenance, and the Felon went all out! FMX Riders lead by Cody Cavanaugh took to the sky going big for the Mount Pleasant, Michigan crowd!

Wheelie contest saw Jocelyn Perrin take the victory with two giant leaps onto the cars. A mention to Mark Schroder who in the Felon rode out a fantastic tailgate draggin' slap wheelie much to the delight of the crowd. Amsoil Shock Therapy and Avenger both went vertical for the fans! In Chicago style racing it was Jim Koehler in Avenger knocking out Chris Ryan in Excaliber in the final round.

Freestyle started strong as Jocelyn Perrin turned in quote possibly one of the best runs of her career in the High Maintenance truck. Mark Schroeder in the Felon was off to a great start but broke a rear pinion early in his run. Chris "Panda" Ryan turned in a fantastic run in the Excaliber truck as did Chris Bergeron in Brutus before the engine let go. Jon Zimmer in Amsoil Shock Therapy set out to show the crowd why he earned his spot into the World Finals by getting great air! A broken shock would end his run early and Zimmer was noticeably disappointed. Last but not least was Mr. Excitement, Jim Koehler in Avenger! Grabbing the biggest air of the night and keeping up great momentum was the norm before the 57' Chevy ended up on its lid to end the run. 

The freestyle competition came down to High Maintenance and Avenger, in a close call, the win was determined a tie reminiscent of the Monroe, Michigan event held back in August of 2009.
